We wish to inform you that Prayas a student placement club students attended the two-day National Convention (27th and 28th April) on “Make In India, for the World: Leveraging People, Technology and Innovation“ aligns with the most powerful initiative launched by the Government of India under the dynamic leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The convention has emerged as a steering platform for all stakeholders to share their experiences on reforms and incentives required to achieve Global benchmark of “ease of doing business” and accentuate the need for executing the much needed investment in developing world class people skills, technology and innovation.
This forum has experienced in together about 300 CEOs, CXOs, Senior Managers, Consultants, Trainers, Finance and Administrative heads of industry and corporate organizations including academia and had culminated in designing strategies for integration into the global value chain and deliver products and services made both for India and overseas markets in a global competitive environment with world class quality and standards.
Keeping in view the horizontal spread of the convention, 20 students from our university had assisted us in the convention. In addition to supporting the convention, the students also benefited by assimilating the national level exposure and securing internships.
Prayas, Ansal University’s student placement group organized a group discussion, ‘Soch Vichar’, amongst all schools of the Ansal University on 5th April 2017 to provide exposure regarding the growing need of good communication skills among the students. The session started with honoring of the chief guest, Rear Admiral Kapil Gupta along with various other corporate professionals such as Mr. Abhishek Chandra, the co-founder of Mobikwik, Ms. Neetu Pahuja, HR Manager of CB&I and Mr. Om Narayan, CEO of Campus Oxide, who were present throughout the session as the jury panel.
The CRC at the Ansal University aims to develop sustainable and fulfilling careers, rather than ‘just a job’. We are here to guide, manage & Shape your careers by developing key skill sets required for transition from a student to a complete professional.
Besides core function of Placements & Internship CRC is instrumental in organizing trainings on various Soft Skills ,Technological Skills, Industry Connect Programs, Seminars, Workshops, Industrial Tours, Live Projects, Expert Lectures & Mentorship Program thereby helping the student to plan his/her future & make best use of the time as a student.
