Solar Power Plant | Sustainable Energy

Sushant University is committed to sustainability through renewable energy. Our on-campus solar power plant harnesses solar energy to generate clean electricity, reducing reliance on conventional power sources and lowering our carbon footprint.

Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

At Sushant University, our Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) plays a vital role in sustainability by treating and recycling wastewater for use in gardening, flushing, and landscaping. This reduces our freshwater consumption and minimizes environmental impact. The STP reflects our commitment to smart, eco-friendly solutions that make our campus greener and more resource-efficient every day.

Storage Tanks

To support our sustainability goals, Sushant University is expanding the number and capacity of rainwater storage tanks. This ensures we can meet the campus’s growing water needs while promoting eco-friendly water management.

Water Recycling

Sushant University embraces sustainable practices through advanced water recycling systems. Our on-campus wastewater treatment reuses water for non-potable purposes, significantly reducing consumption and minimizing our environmental impact.

Borewell

At Sushant University, borewell water supports campus irrigation, ensuring a reliable supply for maintaining greenery. Efficient pumping, storage, and distribution systems help reduce dependence on external water sources while sustaining our landscaped environment.

Rainwater Harvesting

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’ve implemented an efficient rainwater harvesting system across campus. By capturing and storing rainwater from rooftops and open areas, we reduce reliance on municipal water and support groundwater recharge.
