SCHOOL OF DESIGN (SoD) IN ACADEMIC COLLABORATION WITH KING MONGKUT’S UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY THONBURI (KMUTT), BANGKOK, THAILAND
The School of Design at Sushant University is proud to collaborate with KMUTT, a leading university in Thailand known for innovation and excellence in technology and design. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) fosters a dynamic platform for cross-cultural learning and academic exchange.
As part of this collaboration, students from the School of Design participate in a week-long intensive workshop at KMUTT’s Bangkok campus. These workshops, led by KMUTT faculty and involving collaborative activities with Thai students, offer Indian students hands-on learning and immersive exposure to Thailand’s design culture and practices.
Reciprocally, KMUTT students also visit the Sushant University campus in India to engage in workshops hosted by our faculty. This mutual exchange promotes both academic enrichment and intercultural understanding.
Through this international partnership, students gain valuable global insights, enhance their design perspectives, and experience the strength of cultural exchange preparing them for an increasingly interconnected world.
SoD has close links with a number of international universities and institutions such as to maintain an educational standard that is continually enhanced. These international relationships ensure that SoD is in constant touch with the design community both within and outside of India.
However, it is important to note, joint degrees are not recognized in India or internationally. Therefore, SoD does not offer joint degrees. The SoD Degrees are earned honorably under the guidance and acceptance of the University Grants Commission (UGC). As an internationally renowned recognition, we are deeply honored to be a UGC recognized University offering legitimate and valid degrees.
OUR PRESTIGIOUS COLLABORATION
SCHOOL OF DESIGN (SoD) IN UNIQUE ACADEMIC COLLABORATION WITH ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH, UK offers Undergraduate and Post Graduate programmes in Design. This collaboration provides a unique opportunity for School of Design students to benefit from Arts University Bournemouth’s world-leading academic expertise. They will have valuable exposure to student’s life in the UK.
With this unique, ground-breaking association between our two institutions, all students enrolling onto the B. Des courses at School of Design, Sushant University will attend the programme as a required mandatory component of their degree. This will be delivered in UK on the beautiful Arts University Bournemouth campus set against Bournemouth's spectacular Jurassic coastline.
On successful completion of this programme, students will be awarded a certificate of attendance along with their end of course assessment grades. Thus, they will be able to transfer what they have learnt in the equivalent credits when they return to Sushant University. In the globalized society, we live in, international collaboration programmes help by providing students with the ability to study, work and travel in an international capacity.
