TRANS DISCIPLINARY LEARNING (TDL)
Expanding the Horizon
Trans-disciplinary learning originates from the belief that there is knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes and actions that transcends the boundaries of subject areas. This approach of learning forges the curriculum into a coherent trans-disciplinary learning that is engaging, relevant, challenging and significant. To expand learning opportunities for students, there are inter and trans-disciplinary courses in every program which provide opportunities for higher-level learning outcomes. Trans Disciplinary Learning is embedded in all the courses of the University. Students enroll in a TDL course offered by some school, different from the home School. Scholars undertake and complete a project activity under the supervision of the respective mentor. The motto of this entire procedure is to facilitate the students in multidisciplinary experiential learning. The expanded learning opportunities provide apprentices stimulating course combinations in the context of Flexible and Choice Based Credit System too.
