Chef Shikha is an Assistant Professor at Vatel Hotel and Tourism Business School, Sushant University. With over 20 years of combined academic and industry experience, including teaching at DIHM Lajpat Nagar, Le Cordon Bleu GD Goenka University, Indian School of Hospitality, and professional experience with The Oberoi Amarvilas, The Oberoi New Delhi, The Leela Udaipur and The Leela Chanakyapuri Hotels. She is committed to developing future hospitality professionals through innovative teaching, research and practical learning.
Pursuing Ph.D. in Tourism, with a specialization in sustainability practices in the hotel industry, particularly aligning UN SDGS in hotel operations, raising alarm for misleading greenwashing practices. Her research focuses on enhancing 5-star deluxe hotels’ performance through effective green training and implementing green practices.
Chef Shikha actively contributes to curriculum development, interdisciplinary learning and hospitality research while mentoring students to excel in both academic and professional environments.
