She is an academic professional in the field of Optometry with strong clinical and teaching experience. She completed her Master of Optometry (2021–2023) and Bachelor of Optometry (2017–2021) from SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana.
She previously served as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Optometry at Sushant University, where she assisted in lectures, clinical demonstrations, and laboratory supervision. She has actively contributed to academic activities by mentoring students, supporting practical training, and assisting in the organization of workshops, conferences, and educational events.
Preeti has gained valuable clinical exposure through internships at Akash Healthcare, Dwarka, Delhi, and SGT University, where she developed expertise in patient examination and diagnostic procedures. Her clinical competencies include refraction techniques, tonometry, keratometry, OCT, perimetry, A-scan, corneal topography, fundus photography, and lensometry.
She has also contributed to innovation and research through a patent titled “Biodegradable Smart Syringe” (Design No. 448461-001, February 2025), reflecting her interest in integrating technology with healthcare solutions.
Her academic interests include ocular diagnostics, refractive error assessment, binocular vision evaluation, and advancements in optometric care. She is committed to enhancing patient care, academic excellence, and the professional development of future optometrists.
