Dr. Rubina Wadhwa, Ph.D., is presently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, School of Health Sciences, Sushant University, Gurugram, Haryana. With over more than 14 + years of rich experience in research, teaching, and academic administration, she has established herself as a committed academician and an active researcher.
Her research interests primarily focus on the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel medicinal compounds with potential antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, and cognitive function-improving properties. In addition, she possesses strong expertise in computer-aided drug design, integrating computational tools with experimental approaches to explore new therapeutic possibilities. Dr. Wadhwa has made significant scholarly contributions, including authoring two books, several book chapters, and publishing more than 45 research and review articles in reputed journals. Her research work has earned over 846 citations, with an H-index of 14, reflecting the impact of her academic contributions. She has successfully guided several Ph.D. and master’s students, nurturing young researchers in their academic pursuits. A certified bioinformatics trainer, Dr. Wadhwa actively engages in reviewing for esteemed national and international journals and has also chaired sessions at various national and international conferences.
