Deependra is a landscape designer and architect with ten years of professional experience in Landscape and Architecture. He currently heads the landscape design studio at Apartment 9 outdoors. Prior to this he got chance to work at eminent landscape practices- Shaheer Associates and Design Accord Consultants.
His portfolio includes some of the prestigious landscape projects such as Rashtrapati Bhawan Gardens CCMP II (alongwith Design Accord Consultants and INTACH Delhi Chapter), Parliament House Annexe (with Design Accord Consultants), Sunder Nursery (with Shaheer Associates), IIT Gandhinagar (with Shaheer Associates), Humayun’s Tomb Interpretation Center (Shaheer Associates), Lohia Botanical Park at Kanpur (with Design Accord Consultants), etc.
His contribution to academics has just started with Sushant School of Design from 2023.
Research:
Perpetually interested in establishing the relation of humans with outdoor spaces and their responsiveness.
