Professional Biography
Dr. Chakshu Arora is serving as an Assistant Professor at Sushant University, Gurugram. She also serves as the Program Director, Department of Commerce, School of Business. Dr. Arora is an experienced academic with over 11 years of teaching and research experience in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Management. She holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Kurukshetra University and has completed her Ph.D. in Management. Her research interests include Marketing Management, MSMEs, Social Media Marketing and Financial Technology (FinTech).
Throughout her academic journey, she has actively participated in various Faculty Development Programmes, workshops, and national and international conferences, reflecting her continuous commitment to learning and professional development. Dr. Arora is a prolific researcher, with several research publications in reputed journals indexed in ABDC, Scopus, and publications by Taylor & Francis Group. She has also presented her research papers at numerous national and international conferences, including conferences held in Vietnam.
Her teaching experience includes courses for MBA, BBA, and B.Com programmes, particularly in the areas of Finance, Accounting, FinTech, and Marketing. Dr. Arora has guided more than 100 undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
In addition to teaching and research, she actively contributes to academic and institutional development. She has served as Editor of the departmental E-Magazine “UTKARSH”, been a member of the university-level Cultural Club Committee, and has also worked as a Programme Director for the Department of Commerce. She believes that knowledge grows when shared and serves as a light for societal progress
