PhD Colloquium
The Colloquium is a unique interactive platform for presentation of PhD research on Architecture, Planning and Design scheduled for July 2020. It will act as a sounding board for ideas to be discussed among peers and senior academics. We invite scholars who are presently in the second or third year of doctoral work in the fields of Architecture, Planning and Design to submit papers and present their research. As a part of the three day Colloquium, input and feedback from peers and senior academics will enrich the discourse and provide an opportunity to the participants to sharpen perspectives on their research positions. The submitted abstracts will undergo a process of selection by the Colloquium Committee. The authors of selected abstract will be invited to send in their full papers which they will present during the Colloquium. The papers incorporating perspectives emerging during the Colloquium will be published following a process of peer review and feedback in Volume 3 Number 1 ofVeranda: Journal of Sushant School of Art and Architecture in 2021.
The'Master Class' is a supplementary platform for PhD aspirants and early researchers. This will be conducted by leading Scholars to enable learning about the emerging disciplinary, methodological discourses and to seek guidance on writing good proposals. We also welcome academics to participate as audience in the three day Colloquium.
