Brief Profile
An Alumnus of IHM Gwalior, Self-directed and motivated hospitality professional turned educator, Dr. Saurav has done his Master’s in Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Kurukshetra University and Phd. In hospitality from G.D Goenka University.
His doctoral research is in the area of Qualitative aspects of Meals served at hospitals.
He has over 13 years of rich experience in Industry and Academia and began his Academic Career in 2013 with The Lalit Suri Hospitality school, Faridabad as a Sr. Lecturer-Food production. Prior to joining The Lalit School of Hospitality, he was associated with Intercontinental Hotel, Delhi for 5 years and headed continental bulk kitchen, night club and specialty restaurant at the hotel as sous chef
He specializes in International Cuisines &Regional French cuisine. In addition to his academic role as Assistant Professor, he is also the Program Coordinator for Master’s Programs offered by Vatel Hotel School.
As a contributor to the Academia, Dr. Saurav has published research papers in reputed UGC approved Journals and presented papers in various international conferences and has also undergone a scholarship programme by American Hospitality Academy. His research interests are in the domain of food & Wine pairing, Gastronomic tourism & food styling.
