Short Biography

Prof. Varsha is an architect and Environmental Planner from SPA with a specialization in sustainable transportation and the built environment. She is also an IGBC-certified professional. She has submitted her Ph.D. titled, “Efficiency of Urban Street’s Planning & Designing: An Evaluatory Framework & Integrated Approach”, and is under review for the final award of the doctorate.

She has been associated with academics and industry for also 2 decades as an architect-planner. She bagged a national award for “Best Thesis of the Year, 2005” by ITPI.      

She has worked with various national and international organizations like Gherzi Eastern, AC Neilson, Takenaka, and Studio U+A, Gurgaon, etc. Her area of expertise is high end residential design, Commercial buildings, Hospitality projects, large-scale townships, and green certification of the buildings and townships. Her research area is the integration of street and built environment, focusing on safe and accessible mode of transportation for types of users.

Sustainable buildings, ESG, Sustainable transportation, Net zero, and Climate Change.
