Prof. (Dr.) Anil Dawra –Professor School of Law Sushant University
- Prof. (Dr.) Anil Dawra, IPS (R), former Director General of Police, Haryana received his LL. B and LL.M from the Faculty of Law, and Bachelor of Science from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. He did his Ph.D. in law from Rajasthan University.
- He has done Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad in association with the London Business School.
- He has successfully done the following courses:
- Crisis Management from American University, Washington DC, USA.
- Contracts laws from Harvard University, USA.
- American Constitution from Yale University, USA.
- American Laws from University of Pennsylvania Law School (U Penn, USA)
- International Criminal Justice System from Case Western Reserve University, USA and
- European Business Law: Understanding the Fundamentals from Lund University, Sweden.
- Prior to joining this institution, he has served as a Professor of Law in G D Goenka University for 7 years.
- He was a distinguished member of the Indian Police Service, for over 32 years and has tremendous experience in the working of Indian laws apart from a close familiarity with the working of Indian courts at all levels as he has also practiced as an advocate in the Delhi High Court.
- Professor. (Dr.) Dawra specializes in Criminal and Commercial laws with emphasis on victimology and plea-bargaining.
- His passion for teaching even during service in various National Law Schools, Judicial Academies and various Police training Institutes helped him in keeping abreast with academic and judicial developments.
- He brings in his tremendous experience to the class and makes the understanding of the laws easier for the students by adopting innovative pedagogy.
