Dr. Archana Vashishth is an Associate Professor in School of Law, Sushant University. She completed her journey of legal education from graduation to doctorate from Mahrishi Dayanand University Rohtak. Prior to joining Sushant University, she was working at Apeejay Stya University as an HOD. She has also worked as an Associate Professor in SGT University and before Joining there she was associated with K.R.Mangalam University Gurugram as an Assistant Professor .
Her area of interest includes procedural laws, laws relating to women, contract Act, Land Laws, Arbitration.
She has published several research papers and articles in leading law journals including Scopus and UGC Care List and chapters in books. She has participated and presented papers in various international and national conferences and seminars. She has continued her academic growth with the publication of three books including “A Guide to Laws Relating to Women and Child, Development in The IPR In Last Decade and Contemporary Indian Laws: Issues and Challenges. She has been invited as guest speaker in various state and private universities.
Her areas of research are laws relating to women, arbitration, and criminal laws. She has actively participated as a convenor in organizing various International and National Conference, Seminars, symposium, moot court competition. She has also discharged various administrative role apart from the academic activities. She has judged various prestigious moot court competition. A total of Five scholars has been awarded Ph.D. degree under her Supervision. She used to be a member of various academic councils such as Academic Council, and Board of studies, URC and chairperson of SRC.
