Dr Latika is a Professor and Associate Dean, School of Engineering & Technology at Ansal University. She has done her Bachelors from Kurukshetra University, her Masters from Guru Jambeshwar University and her PhD from National Brain Research Centre, Manesar. She has completed her second Masters in Data Mining & Business Intelligence from ITB,
Her research interests span using computation and machine learning tools in various applications including diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders, detection of android malwares, blind steganalysis etc. She has managed 3 sponsored projects from various funding agencies including DST, AICTE and DST-CSRI etc. She has published more than 50 papers in various Journal and conferences of international repute. She has published two patents. She was convener of IEEE sponsored 4th IACC conference and was organizer AICTE sponsored National Conference on Soft Computing. She has been awarded best faculty award twice at her previous organization, The NorthCap University, for her contribution in teaching and research. She is a member of Computer Society of India and ACM.
She has guided 6 PhDs, more than 20 MTech thesis and more than 30 BTech projects in various technologies. At present guiding 8 PhD students. She has taught a wide range of courses at UG and PG level including Internet of Things, Data Mining, Text Mining, Web Mining, Ruby on Rails, Programming (C, C++, Java, Ruby, Python), Business Intelligence etc.
