Short bio:
Mareena Thomas is a graduate of Sushant School of Art and Architecture and has a Masters in Urban Vision & Architectural Design from Domus Academy, Milan, Italy. She worked as an Architect at JR+A, Gurgaon and taught at GD Goenka School of Architecture & Planning prior to joining SoD in 2019 where she currently works as an Assistant Professor in Interior Architecture and Interior Design departments.
Her role as a teacher in the vast and ever-evolving field of Design is to facilitate the students to maintain a collaborative problem-solving attitude and to be empathetic through design.
An architect by training and a designer at heart, her research interests lie at the intersection of the two, involving urban graphics, moving exhibitions, festivalism and cities.
