Professional Biography

Dr. Farhana Mariyam is a Computer Science graduate who completed her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from MDU, Rohtak in 2012 and M.Tech in Computer Engineering from Jamia Hamdard in 2016. She earned her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and has established herself as a dedicated academician with a strong foundation in teaching and research.
Currently, she is serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Business, Sushant University, Gurugram. With a commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence, she actively contributes to interdisciplinary education by integrating technology with business applications, particularly in the field of Business Analytics.
Her research interests include Cloud Computing, Computational Intelligence, Software Engineering, Soft Computing Techniques, Business Analytics, and their applications in solving real-world problems. She has published more than 15 research papers in various national and international journals and conferences of repute, indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
Dr. Mariyam has delivered several invited lectures and actively participates in academic activities, including conferences, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and seminars. She has also presented research papers at various national and international platforms. She is actively engaged in mentoring and guiding students for both academic and career development. She believes in fostering a student-centric learning environment and is committed to nurturing innovation, critical thinking, and professional growth among learners
