Graphic Designer | Illustrator | Filmmaker | Cinematographer | Musician
A strong creative urge and emotions drive his multiple forms of expression. He is a native of the world of stories, concepts & ideas. Often, he expresses those stories, concepts & ideas and his feelings & experiences through a variety of media. He is a multi-disciplinary artist. He hails from fine arts (visual arts), advertising and films background. Besides, he has composed, produced, written many songs and music for himself and worked commercially as a music composer and producer for few ad jingles and individual artists as well.
With 10+ years of creative industry experience as a multi-disciplinary artist (Art Director/ Graphic Designer, Visual Artist, Filmmaker and Musician) and also, he is currently working with Sushant University as an Assistant Professor in BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) department. He has an experience of working with some prestigious advertising agencies like JWT (Now Wunderman Thompson), Saatchi & Saatchi, VGC (Vyas Giannetti Creative), just to name a few.
After completing his 4 years graduation from a reputed art college, College of Art, New Delhi, He was very confused as to what to do next as he had interest in almost every creative thing. Finally, he ended up working in few reputed advertising agencies in creative department for some time. Thereafter he left advertising to study 3 years Post Graduation in Cinema with specialization in Cinematography (Motion Picture Photography) from a prestigious national film school, SRFTI (Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute), Kolkata.
Moreover, his years of experience as a multi-disciplinary artist in the field of Visual Arts - Communication/Graphic Design, Illustrations, Advertising, Music, Filmmaking and also a Teacher for a very short stint have given him the opportunity to cultivate his skills in these areas and develop a good foundation to help students achieve their academic and artistic goals. His core strength lies in teaching all the above-mentioned subjects along with Drawing, Illustration, Photography and Cinematography.
