Short Biography (250- 300 words)

Sindhuree Iyengar is an educator and researcher having an M. Arch ( project Management), Master’s in Sociology and Bachelors in Architecture. She has teaching experience of nine years in the field of Design and Architecture with two years of field experience. She has a keen interest in the cross-over between fields of creative thinking in the making of space, experientiality and narrative-based design methodologies. She has been extensively working on inside-out approach of space making. MS. Iyengar is Associate Professor in School of Art and Architecture, Sushant University. She teaches Architectural Design since 2012, conducting undergraduate studios at the Sushant School of Art and Architecture, (SSAA) and BVCOA, India. Ms. Iyengar has taught at SSAA from 2015 to June 2019 and prior to this she was an assistant professor at Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai (2012-2014). She also pursued her Masters in Architecture ( 2020 – 2022) from Mumbai University and also worked as a visiting faculty in Vivekanand Education society’s college of Architecture during this period.

Explorations of Traditional Architectural and Building Systems, Role of Experientiality in the Design of Space, Developing Design Tools for Facilitating the Creative Process.
