Shubhi Khare is a dynamic and accomplished urban designer and educator. She is a Silver Medalist with a Masters in Architecture (Urban Design) from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurugram, and holds a Bachelors in Architecture from Bharati Vidhyapeeth Deemed to be University, COA, Pune. She is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture, India (CA/2018/98192).
Holding more than 5 years of professional experience, Shubhi currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Sushant University, where she contributes significantly to the academic and professional development of her students. She previously held the same role at MBS School of Planning and Architecture, Dwarka, Delhi. Her teaching expertise spans core architectural subjects, including Urban Design, Architectural Design, Building Construction, Architectural Drawing, history and Building Material Sciences. She has served as a Studio In-charge, guiding students through complex design and research projects. Shubhi is actively involved in academic co-curricular activities, having served as a coordinator for initiatives like Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and various academic and cultural committees. She has also organized and led educational trips and workshops, and has contributed as an author and editor for conferences on sustainable and innovative architectural practices.
Prior to her academic career, Shubhi gained extensive professional experience as an urban designer. She has worked on large-scale projects with firms like Genesis Developers Pvt. Ltd., Total Synergy Consulting Private Limited, and Beyond Built Private Limited. Her professional portfolio includes concept planning for townships, master plans for mega projects, and involvement in significant international projects funded by the World Bank and the Asia Development Bank. Her work focuses on integrated urban planning for livability and cultural economy, with notable projects in Rajasthan, Nepal, and Jharkhand. She also contributed to the "Badshahpur Forest Corridor" project with BBPL and the "Vision for Future Ayodhya 2047" during her internship with LEA Associates South Asia Private Limited. Shubhi's blend of practical, hands-on experience and academic rigor makes her a valuable asset to both the classroom and the field of architecture.
