Short Biography
Md Shahroz Alam is an alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi from where he completed both his graduation as well as post-graduation in Architecture. He has specialization in Masters of Ekistics. He was also awarded MHRD GATE Fellowship while pursuing his Masters.
He joined Sushant University as an Assistant Professor in 2021. He is also pursuing his PhD from Sushant University.
Currently he has been actively supervising as the Programme Coordinator for Bachelors of Architecture along with Asst. Prof Kiran Singh and also heading Building Services track along with Asst. Prof. Prerana Hazarika.
Before joining Sushant he worked in several universities in India as well as in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He has more than 5 years of experience in academics. He is also actively involved in architectural practice as founding partner in ArchKala Architects.
His research interest lies in Vernacular, Sustainable and Climate Responsive Architecture. He is also a PhD. scholar and his current research area is focussed in climate responsive architecture. He loves to travel and shares his experience as a Local Guide on Google Maps.
