Short Biography (250- 300 words)
Savar Suri is a Delhi based Architect and Researcher with more than 11 years of industry experience with corporates and architectural firms such as morphogenesis where he worked on commercial projects and SpiceJet, being the in-house Architect in the special projects division. Also, with Helios he has worked on high end residences and farmhouses. He also has a master’s degree in Built Heritage Architectural Conservation and has worked with the Architectural Heritage division of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage or INTACH, an institution recognized as one of the world’s largest heritage organizations. He worked on the built heritage listing and reports of districts Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Bijnaur as well as on the Ganga Documentation database as a part of the Ganga Cultural Documentation under National Mission of Clean Ganga (NMCG) programme of the central government of India, which is also in part a public outreach initiative, sensitising people to conserve and preserve heritage. In addition to the same, Savar Suri has been publishing and presenting his research at various conferences and across various academic platforms and journals. Sushant University has a rich library resource in terms of journals, periodicals, books and a vast pool of research papers and thesis documents of alumni spanning various subjects. There is also a diverse faculty pool with faculties across disciplines and specializations.
