MA in Visual Art from Ambedkar University New Delhi.

CD At TALENT(Storytelling NGO, Old Delhi)

Theatre Designer and Crafts instructor at National School of Drama, New Delhi.

Working at Sushant University Gurugram.

My art practice is based on multi disciplinary mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, site -specific, installations and public art that engages with the concepts of time and space. How do things transforms with the time in multiple structures? By a series of observations and tracing the trails of cultural remanence through the linearity of time.

I attempt to address such questions through my artistic practice in an intense engagement with the idea of the an archive. By archive I do not merely refer to its preservative capacity but a system or way through which to retrieve specific ideas, memories and experiences of the past, deploying a visual language using found and everyday objects. Interpreting the world through values of common objects, which I find in everyday life. Questioning the concept of time and space, in its transformation as well as displacement, migration, adaptation and cultural hybridisation. Also investigating the idea of identity, through an object or the history (personal or collective) in this Contemporary world with full of technology and virtual realities.

It tries to bring to fore the concept of distanciation. Through this whole process of meaning making I am trying to find an intersection between art and the performative aspects of everyday life through my Cultural practice. which brings me to Question multiple things of societal structures and its norms.

Currently my practice and interest of working is cultural identity and its hybridisation. Rethinking and shaping to its archival aspects. Not merely by its terms of archive but an art making process engaging with knowledge producing and sharing. By revisiting the Facts (personal memories and experiences as well as personal or collective histories) through different mediums such as an object, script, oral history, landscape and cultural remanences.

On the other hand, trying to bring other possibilities of art practice through its mediums and techniques, by experimenting with the large number of art forms and mediums, encountering the new media (virtual/digital mediums) in the diversity. Largely the moving sculptures, site specific, comic, Graphic novel, audiovisual installations, public art and digital media like programming software and the contents of archives in my art practices.Research Interests
