Short Biography

Prerana is an experienced architect and urban planner with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Dehradun Institute of Technology and holds a gold medal from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur for her Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning. She is a voracious reader and harbors an ardent love for design, city mapping and research. She enjoys sharing anecdotes during her classes and often discusses her adoration for movies, art, and literature with her students. She has mentored her students in a varied number of projects and successfully co-authored research papers in several fields of shared interests. Her research areas are focused on spatial analysis and disaster mitigation.

Research Interests

Urban planning and spatial analysis, municipal finance and governance.
