An architect who identifies as an interior designer as well as an urban practitioner, looking to orient her journey towards engaging with urban infrastructure through research tools and efficient design practices. A keen learner who also wishes to expand her knowledge base in the field of education in Architecture and Planning through constant learning, exploring and researching. Pratibha Malik has completed her bachelors in Architecture from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurgaon. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the programme of M Arch Interior Architecture and M Arch Urban Design in School of Art and Architecture, Sushant University.
She has an industry experience of more than 3 years now and has worked on various kinds of projects ranging from working as a Project Consultant for Punjab Government for Jal Jeevan Mission, to being a part of the team at EY, aiding to provide support during the second wave of Covid. She has worked with Reckitt Benckiser as their research and documentation expert. She has also been a part of the urban Fellows programme at IIHS, Bangalore where she worked on her research project of assessing the feasibility of School Complex/ Consolidation Model in urban areas with a focus on methods and situational analysis. She also conducted a study understand the everyday negotiations of street vendors at Yeshwantpur Market in Banaglore.
