Short Biography

Prof. Prarthna Misra is an architect and designer. Prarthna finished her Undergraduate degree from SCI-Arc, Los Angeles, Califoria. She completed her Master's degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture. Prarthna has worked across the globe, in places like UK, USA and India. Owing to her education and experience, Prarthna has international exposure in the field of Architecture. She is interested in the convergence of upcoming technology and Architecture. Prarthna’s research interests lie in progressing the field of Indian handicrafts and architecture through the means of artificial intelligence.

Prarthna was visiting faculty at SPA, Delhi, in 2021. She also has industry experience, as she worked at the award-winning firm, Renesa Architects, in Delhi, from 2019 to 2020. Prarthna is also building her own practice while pursuing teaching. Through her practice and academic work, Prarthna aims to uplift the architectural world in India.

Research Interests

Using Artificial Intelligence to incorporate Indian Architecture and Handicrafts in the built and digital environment.
