Short Biography

Kumud graduated in Fine Arts (specialization in western style of Paintings and Murals) from Government College of Arts and Crafts, Kolkata in 1990, and had done a distinct course under the guidance of eminent artist Shuvaprassanna. He has over 29 years of professional experience ranging from being an educator to an illustrator, game visualizer, Interior designer and workshop instructor. He has worked with organizations such as BANICHAKRA, Kolkata, H.T.A (now JWT), PUBLICIS, V. BEING, Delhi .NAHAR & STUDIO GALAXY, Kolkata; BILL AND MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION with METAMORPHOSIS FILM JUNCTION, Delhi. He has also been an active practicing artist widely exhibiting all over India and his works are in collection both in India and abroad.

Teaching experience at Sushant school of art and architecture is 6+years
