SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
Himanshu is an Associate Professor and is currently the Associate Dean at SAA. A Policy and Programme Analyst with a focus in Sustainability, Rail and Road Infrastructure and Community Development, Himanshu teaches fundamentals of design and transportation in the divisions of Architecture and Planning. He has a Masters in Environmental Engineering & Sustainable Infrastructure and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Environmental Architecture. He has over 10 years of experience in administering projects of urban scale. However, he is now channelizing his skills in critically analyzing the infrastructure and transport of the region. He has worked on development projects with national and international donor agencies to strengthen best practices, policy and regulatory support framework, urban infrastructure and sustainable financing models and schemes. His primary objective as an academician is to a structure where practical approach is scrutinized to draw strategies for future, instilling the idea of questioning thoughts and information before it is shared as knowledge.
