Short Biography

Deepak Kumar is a seasoned Architect Planner with over 13 years of experience in the industry. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Architecture with Roll of Honour in 2009, followed by a Master’s degree from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, in 2013. Throughout his career in India, Deepak has been involved in a range of prestigious projects, including national design competitions, residential housing, corporate office buildings, and advanced housing finance projects. His vast expertise encompasses the design and execution of large-scale residential complexes, office buildings, and educational institutions, collaborating with renowned professionals such as Dr. Bimal Patel, PNB Housing Finance Ltd., and ATS Infrastructure Ltd. 

Since 2015, Deepak has been blending his design expertise with academia, contributing to leading institutions like SPSA in Sonipat, SGI in Gurugram, MBS SPA in New Delhi, and Sushant University in Gurgaon. In his academic career, Deepak has mentored numerous students through thesis and research projects and has published six research papers. He continues to make strides in academia, with plans to expand his contributions further. 

Beyond teaching, Deepak is an active participant in faculty development programs, seminars, workshops, and conferences. His extensive network within the Architecture and Planning community allows him to bring valuable perspectives to guest lectures, jury panels, and academic collaborations. Notably, he has delivered guest lectures on "Design Approach" at MRSPTU in Bathinda and Symbiosis University in Pune. 

Deepak’s teaching philosophy emphasizes that "the Process is more important than the Product." His unwavering curiosity, commitment to continuous learning, and passion for fostering student growth make him a respected mentor in academia.

Evolving Architecture: A Study on the Transformation of Government Office Buildings in capital city Delhi, since Independence.
