Short Biography:

Arjun Kamal is an architect, academician, computational designer, and author. He has done his M.Arch. in Landscape Architecture. He has contributed articles in various newspapers and magazines including Journal of Indian Institute of Architects, The Tribune, Nagaland Post, MGS Architecture, Green Construction + Design, Inside Outside, Architecture - Time, Space & People (Council of Architecture’s magazine), Architecture Update, etc. He has co-authored books on architecture and design entrance.

He has previously taught at Apeejay Institute of Technology – School of Architecture and Planning, Greater Noida for three years and Vastukala Academy for seven months.

At School of Art and Architecture, Sushant University, he has taught various subjects including para design (1^st and 2^nd semester), building construction (1^st semester), architectural design (5^th semester), structural systems and design (7^th semester), computational design (B.Arch.4^th year and M.Arch. 2^nd year), site planning (8^th semester), landscape design studio (M.Arch. – Landscape Architecture 2^nd semester), introduction to environmental design (M.Arch. – Landscape Architecture, 1^st semester), history of landscape architecture (M.Arch. – Landscape Architecture, 2^nd semester) 

Research Interests:

New construction technologies, design thinking, landscape urbanism, procedural art, computational design and energy conscious architecture.
