Short Biography

Aparajita is an Associate Professor in Sushant school of Art and Architecture, holding a master’s degree in urban design from K.R.V.I.A, Mumbai University and completed B.Arch. from IPS Academy, Indore. With a keen interest in Urban sustainability studies, she is currently perusing her PhD in “Assessing Urban Fragmentation towards Sustainability of Cities in India”. She holds 3 years of Industrial experience with both small and big scale projects from execution to implementation and over 8 years of professional academic experience in Architecture and design. She began her academic career from the esteemed University of Bahrain as a design faculty in Architecture / Interior design and earned immense exposure and expertise in Architecture, Art, Interiors and Urban studies through multiple research oriented, multidisciplinary and competitive design projects.

With a firm belief in Architecture and research base as a key stone in shaping up cities and strengthening societies for human livability, she aims to take forward her Architectural design expertise through teaching and engaging with the learners in transdisciplinary and research-based approach and analyzing skills. Sushant School of Art and Architecture, provides a strong foundation to the students in research programs, collaborative working in participatory projects and engaging with the community and context through best practices.
