Traditional Building Materials Workshop
Greetings from the School of Art & Architecture, Sushant University!
On behalf of Creative Cluster, we are pleased to inform you that a Traditional Building Materials Workshop is being organized as a part of World Heritage Day Celebration to learn and raise awareness about traditional materials and techniques that have been used in various parts of India. The idea is to understand the structural concepts, application and feasibility, scope and limitations of these materials and techniques in today’s context. Making and doing by hand will ensure comprehensive learning maximum exposure. It will also help the participants to understand the relevance of these techniques and materials as a response to local climatic conditions and analyse the sustainability aspects.
