In 1989, four prominent Indian architects of the time came together to start the Sushant School of Art and Architecture - on a campus nestled in lap of nature, in the pre-developed era of Gurgaon. Supported by the Chiranjiv Charitable trust and under the direct patronage of Smt. Kusum Ansal & Shri Sushil Ansal, the school developed into a nerve center for architectural thought and innovation in the country.
Today we are 32, the flagship has positioned itself as one of the premier Architecture Institutes in the country. As has become the tradition, the Founders Day Celebrations generally coincides with the birthday celebrations of Prof MM Rana, the founding dean of the School. A student-driven affair, the Foundation Day celebration is a way by which we attempt to recreate the nostalgia and reconnect with our roots. Our very dynamic Students’ Council runs and organizes the show. A strong alumni presence during the celebrations ensures a wide outreach and gives a platform for connections to be established between the current student body, the industry and the alumni.
