Faculty Development Program: Everyone can Design 2.0 – AI in the Creative Realms (21st – 25th July,2025)

 

School of Art & Architecture successfully conducted a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Everyone can Design 2.0 – AI in the Creative Realms” from 21st to 25th July, 2025 in hybrid mode. The week-long program brought together faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals to explore how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping creativity, design, and innovation across several creative disciplines.

Program Highlights:

  • Expert Insights: Distinguished speakers from academia and industry shared perspectives on the intersection of AI, creativity, and design, highlighting its applications in education, research, and professional practice.
  • Hands-on Exploration: Participants engaged in workshops and demonstrations on AI-powered creative tools, exploring how technology can enhance design thinking, ideation, and content generation.
  • Multidisciplinary Relevance: Sessions focused on the role of AI in fostering innovation across art, literature, media, architecture, and engineering, while also addressing ethical considerations in creative AI.
  • Collaborative Learning: Faculty members exchanged experiences and ideas on integrating AI-driven creative methodologies into teaching and research, encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Outcomes:

The program received enthusiastic participation and was highly appreciated for its innovative approach to bridging AI with creativity.
