Ashutosh Raj Anand is an Assistant Professor in School of Law, Sushant University. He did his B.A. LL.B. (Hons) from Bangalore University and LL.M. from Indian Law Institute (New Delhi). He qualified UGC-NET in 2010. Prior to joining Sushant University, he was working at Amity Law School, Noida (Amity University). He has also working as an Assistant Professor at Amity Law School, Delhi (Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) and was associated with Law Centre – II, University of Delhi as a Guest Faculty. His area of interest includes Jurisprudence, Environmental Law, Human Rights, Election Laws, IPR, International Law. 

He has published several research papers and articles in leading law journals and chapters in books. He has participated and presented papers in various international and national conferences and seminars. He has delivered lecture at Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurgaon, Haryana for Class I & II Officers from the Department of Environment, Government of Haryana; has addressed as a key note speaker at Institute of Legal Studies, Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut and has delivered lectures at Indian Law Institute on the subject Environment and Development to LL.M students. His areas of research are disaster law, environmental impact assessment, environment and development, jurisprudence, law and justice. He has actively participated as a convenor in organizing events such as moot court, quiz and declamation competition. He has discharged various administrative role apart from the academic activities. He has judged various prestigious moot court competition including India and Asia Regional Virtual Rounds of Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon SAARC Mooting Competition etc. He has held the position of nodal officer at Amity Law School, Delhi for the World Lung Foundation, Asia Chapter.
