Sushant school of Health sciences of Sushant University, one of the best universities in Delhi-NCR, in collaboration with Shibli academy organized an interactive workshop on First aid and BLS, on April 20, 2022 in the campus of Sushant University. The workshop was an attempt to raise awareness and make students confident to handle emergency situations. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Rahul Sharma, Director School of Health Sciences, followed by a motivating speech by Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Pro VC, Sushant University. The professionals from Shibli Academy were felicitated.
The workshop was conducted by, Dr. Ehtesham Shibli, who is an expert in BLS, first responder, and fire emergencies, and an AHA certified trainer having successfully trained over 5000 people. The session was extremely informative and interactive. Students actively participated in all the activities like CPR, choking management, snakebite management, and fire safety and learned the art of saving lives.
The event marked its end by the Vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Shweta Thusoo, Professor, Department of MLT.
