Legal Aid is free legal assistance provided to indigent persons in administrative, judicial, and quasi-judicial processes as well as any consultation addressing all legal issues.
The Legal Aid Clinic is crucial to the training of future lawyers. It gives pupils a
platform to students to learn and comprehend the law. Student involvement in legal aid initiatives teaches them about the intricacies of the legal system.

Every law school has to establish a legal aid clinic that is formally affiliated with the District Legal Services Authority at a District Court. The District Legal Service Authority offers the legal aid clinic support and direction.
While organizing a camp, students know about the problems faced by the people and their solutions. They have to interact with the public, and while interacting they try to solve the problem of individuals by applying various provisions of law. If the problem is complicated, they refer the matter to the counsel of the District Legal Services Authority.
Orating skill is one of the main skills of a lawyer. A good lawyer is always a good orator. Legal Awareness Camps improve the orating skills of law students.
The career of a law student is greatly influenced by Orating skills and well behaved. Participating in legal assistance camps helps students become good orators and better behaved. It infuses confidence among them after actively participating in legal aid activities.
By visiting the old age home, they know about the plight of old age people which improves the caring nature of law students. They try to solve the problems like Pensions, AdharCard and maintenance, etc by applying the law.
Legal Aid Initiative -NukkadNatak is performed to create awareness among people regarding Legal aid services and their benefits. This helps students in improving their dramatic skills of students and helps in improving their memories.
Legal Aid Initiative -Jail Visit is organised
for law students to have an insight and proper understanding of the prison administration. Jail visit inculcates professionalism among law students. During the Jail visit, students assist impanelled lawyers of the District Legal Services Authority in spreading legal awareness, legal research, drafting, representation, and of cases before the court of law. They also conduct surveys of Jail Inmates about their problems.
During the visit all budding experience the influence of a reformative approach while treating the inmates. They also observe how inmates are part of prison administration & help prison administration in maintaining discipline.
Students also get a chance to interact with the jailor and inmates. They have a lot of questions in their mind. Jail authorities try to answer all the questions. The idea behind the visit was to acquaint the students with the jail manual in a practical manner.
