75th years of independence on 15th August’ 2022

India is soon going to be into 75th years of independence on 15th August’ 2022 and this appears to be the right time to talk of the clarion call been made by our Honourable Prime Minister Sh.Narender Modi in 2017 wherein he had put forward his thought of establishing New India. In line with this call, Niti Ayog , came up with a concrete action plan for transformation of India in sync with the thoughts and actions of our prime minister and created ‘Strategy for New India @ 75’ which was released in 2018.  What better than now to talk about this strategy, when India is soon entering into its 75th Year and we need to gear up to bring his dream and vision into a reality.

75th years of independence on 15th August’ 2022

This strategy has been created based on three key messages from our Prime Minister:

  1. Development must become a mass movement i.e the real economic transformation can happen through Jan Andolan where each and every one is contributing to the benefit of society.
  2. Development of the nation should have a balanced approach for broad based economic growth where each and every region and states of nation grows.

And lastly this strategy should be able to bridge the gap between public and private sector performances. The core of the strategy formulation is an attempt to bring the innovation, technology, enterprise and efficient management together.  The document thus created by Niti Aayog keeping all the key targets in mind for new India is  spread throughout 41 chapters and  have been disaggregated under four sections – Drivers, Infrastructure, Inclusion and Governance. Over 800 stakeholders from within the government – central, state and district levels – and about 550 external experts were consulted during the preparation of the document.

Major recommendations that have been inculcated under four heads,  for the upliftment of  New India, can be summarized as follows :

Drivers : Has a complete focus on the engines of economic growth of the nation. It targets at Growth & Employment, Doubling Farmers Income, Make in India projects, Science , Technology and Innovation , Fintech & Tourism.
