Des) University in Gurugram 2023- School of Design, Sushant University, one of the top Private University of Delhi-NCR, believes in spreading a sense of belongingness among the students while creating one’s individualistic presence in the crowd, for which the school is always up for some fun and frolic. Every semester is an amalgamation of art and creativity knit together through student activities. The Art Express was an event akin to a festival honouring and encouraging one’s right to self-expression by painting on clothes especially denims. Hridya Taneja, the Cultural Head led a workshop on the fundamentals of garment painting followed by students choosing a comfortable area around the campus to create their own modest masterpieces. Mallika Misra, the head of Art Club did hand poked tattoos, which is also a kind of expressive art. To add to it, face painting activity was incorporated where students decorated each other’s faces and clicked pictures. School of Design (SoD), the Best Design College in Gurugram.
Best B.Des. University in Gurugram- Mallika, retouched an old tattoo of hers to educate people on this age-old tattooing technique. It was wonderful to see people interested in learning more about hand-poked tattoos. Some were inspired to get a tattoo for an experiential learning. While the students were busy tattooing and painting, one could catch a glimpse of everyone, while having a great time interacting, singing, and dancing to music — expressing. It turned out to be not only educational but also a fun filled experience.
Sushant School of Design the Top Design College in Gurugram- Another workshop held around the same time was the Bachata Dance workshop organised by the Dance club of the School of Design. Bachata Dance is the joy of movement and the heart of life. Bachata workshop was conducted by Archita Sharma and Tara Prasad (ex roadies’ contestant and reality dance show winner) where a number of students participated and learned basics of the Bachata dance form. It was a different experience for students as Bachata Dance enabled them to find themselves and connect with one another through dance moves. Thus, School of Design, Sushant University, is the place for everything- fun and happening in the middle of the strenuous semester keeping the spirits of the students and faculty team full of enthusiasm with Out -of the box creativity
